To date, three carjacking rings have been dismantled by the police and for the past
six months the police have record to show that 11 vehicles have been hijacked.
Some of those hijacked vehicles have been used in the execution of gunpoint
robberies.
14 persons have been detained country wide in what the police call the biggest dent
