UPGRADE ON REGIONAL HOSPITALS TO EASE STRAIN ON MINISTRY’S BUDGET

The upgrading of hinterland and regional health facilities is expected to ease the burden currently being placed on the Ministry of Public Health’s budget, since it is the Ministry’s responsibility to evacuate patients to the GPHC for highly specialized care during emergencies.
