-after heated argument with husband.
A 24 year old woman was found hanging in her bedroom by her husband shortly after an argument. Sharello Roberts, who resided at Eccles, East Bank Demerara with her husband, had shortly returned from a wake when an argument ensued. It is reported that Roberts soon resorted to her bedroom and locked herself in.
Her husband said after several attempts at opening the door he finally succeeded but was greeted by his wife’s lifeless body hanging from the ceiling. He said he wasted no time in raising an alarm. The body is currently awaiting a post mortem examination to determine the exact circumstances surrounding her death. Meanwhile, her husband has since been in police custody assisting with the investigations.
