A Sixty-year-old Roger Simon, aka ‘Goat Man’, a miner of Second Avenue Bartica, Essequibo River, charged with the offence of Possession of Narcotics for the Purpose of Trafficking. This comes after he was busted with 24 grams of Cannabis on Sunday September 18, 2022.
Simon appeared before Magistrate Crystal Lambert at the Bartica Magistrate’s Court where the charge was read to him.
He pleaded not guilty and was placed on $100,000 bail.
The matter was postponed to Friday October 21, 2022 for statements.
