The Guyana Police Force is investigating the alleged rape of a 13-year-old female, of the Upper Berbice River area, Region 10.
Last Wednesday, the 13 year-old was allegedly raped by a 24-year-old man of Kwakwani.
The suspect was arrested on the 27th.
Police did not provide any other details.
Investigations are ongoing.
