23-BILLION DOLLARS FOR HEALTH CARE

The government plans to spend 10.5 percent of the national budget, totaling 23.2 billion dollars in the health sector for the remainder of fiscal year 2015. The bulk of the money will be spent on the expansion of primary health care, putting a lid on non-communicable diseases and the elimination of maternal and infant mortality. Jessica Daw reports.
