Police in Regional Division #4A are investigating an alleged robbery under arms which occurred on the 11th of March, 2022 at 1:30 am in vicinity of the Chinese Embassy where the victim had stopped and was awaiting a customer when he was confronted by the suspects.
Police were told that the armed suspect pulled out a knife from his waist, pointed same to the victim’s neck and they both relieved him of his valuables before making good their escape. The two suspects being unidentifiable males.
The 47-year-old male driver of Golden Grove, East Bank Demerara was allegedly robbed of one Samsung Galaxy 810 cell phone valued $45,000.00, one silver band valued $60,000.00, one gold ring valued $80,000.00 and one key pad valued $40,000.00.
A report was made and police are currently investigating.
