ACDA REJECTS CALL FOR MAY TO BE DECLARED INDIAN HERITAGE MONTH

Eric Phillips, a member of the African Cultural and Development Association (ACDA), is unhappy with a recent call for May to be designated Indian Heritage Month. If the country is to go down that road, then a month would have to be set aside for each of Guyana’s ethnic groups, including the Portuguese and Chinese.
