AFTER 30 YEARS, BROAD AND LOMBARD STREET FAMILIES RELOCATED TO NEW HOMES

After three decades of living in squalor, twenty families of the broad and Lombard street squatting area were on Tuesday handed keys to their brand new Prospect, East Bank Demerara homes. This initiative is the realization of a promise made by the Government of Guyana, through the CH&PA. Timeka Rodney reports.
