–Â Two men in police custody.
The community of Albouystown was once again thrown into shock Saturday last, after gunmen shot and killed a young man in the area. Dead is Lloyd Bourne, a 25 year old father of two, who reportedly received a gunshot wound to his left side chest. The circumstances surrounding the shooting are unclear but it was reported that Bourne was having a drink with some friends when the unknown gunmen approached and fired shots in their direction. It was observed that Bourne was hit and he was taken to a Private Medical Institution where he was pronounced dead.
Residents in the community are in shock, since merely a few weeks ago, Bourne lost his child’s mother to cancer. Reports indicate that Bourne had just taken his young son home and went to Cooper Street, Albouystown, where he met his demise. Police have so far detained two men in relation to the shooting and they are in custody assisting with the investigations.
