ANIMAL WELFARE GROUP ‘SADDENED’ AT CRUELTY METED OUT TO ANIMALS

With the Christmas season upon us, the Animal Rescue, Adoption and Protection Society (ARAPS) is calling on citizens to desist from the practice of lighting squibs and fireworks during the holidays. ARAPS is also calling for the enforcement of stricter legislation to protect the lives and well-being of animals in Guyana. Amel Griffith reports.
