Feroz Ramdimoon, a 48 year old cash crop farmer, reportedly committed suicide after experiencing domestic problems. The farmer who hails from Supenaam Creek, is said to have ingested a quantity of herbicide. After drinking the poisonous substance, he was reportedly rushed to the Suddie Hospital where he was admitted as a patient. However, Ramdimoon succumbed yesterday in the early hours of the morning.   Â
Only two weeks ago a mechanic of Hampton Court Sea Dam committed suicide while he was intoxicated. He was able to survive four days after the incident. Several residents of the Region are calling on the Ministry of Social Services and the religious community to take steps to address this detrimental trend in the region and country as a whole.
