The recent removal of excise tax on fuel is not enough to aid in cushioning the price of gasoline which has risen significantly in recent weeks. Even as motorists continue to feel the squeeze as a result of the price hike at the pump, a local Economist is calling on the Government to urgently implement a policy that provides compensation to suppliers.
