Berbice teens remanded for robbing cell phone store

Two teens, ages 15 and 17 have been charged with Break and Enter and Larceny at the #51 Magistrate’s court on Wednesday.
The court heard that the two juveniles committed the act at a cellular phone store between the 25th and 27th September, 2021, at Springlands, Corriverton, Berbice.
They were arrested on November 20 and charged on December 1.
They appeared before Magistrate Rabindranauth Singh virtually where they were not required to plea to the charge.

They were both remanded to the Juvenile Holding Centre and the case was postponed to January 6,2022.
