Lionel Mohamed, a 62-year-old resident of Beterverwagting, ECD was arrested on Friday September 16, 2022 and charged today with two counts Possession of Narcotics for the Purpose of Trafficking to wit 948 grams of cannabis and 55 grams of cocaine.
Mohamed appeared before Magistrate Crystal Lambert at the Bartica Magistrate’s Court where the charges were read to him.
He pleaded not guilty to both charges and was remanded to prison until Wednesday October 12, 2022 for statements.
