Police on Tuesday discovered 1,140 cannabis in an empty lot at Britton Street, Plaisance, East Coast Demerara (ECD).
The discovery was made by police officers from Regional Division 4 ‘C’ during a cordon and search operation.
According to a news release, the narcotics were retrieved and taken to the Sparendaam Police Station where 439 ziploc bags were counted and all the narcotics were weighed and amounted to 1,140 grams.
