CARICOM BACKS SURINAME’S FOREIGN AFFAIRS MINISTER AS SECRETARY GENERAL OF THE OAS AHEAD OF MARCH ELECTIONS

In a strong display of regional unity, the CARICOM Caucus of Ambassadors at the Organization of American States (OAS) has unanimously endorsed Suriname’s Foreign Affairs Minister, Albert Ramdin, as CARICOM’s candidate for Secretary-General of the OAS. The election is set to take place on March 10, 2025.
