CCJ OVERTURNS COA’S RULING IN DECISION TO HEAR DISMISSED ELECTION PETITION

The Caribbean  Court of Justice on Wednesday ruled that Guyana’s Court of Appeal erred when it took jurisdiction to hear APNU/AFC’s second petition that Chief Justice dismissed (Ag) Roxane George, SC brought by petitioners Monica Thomas and Brenan Nurse, on the grounds of improper service on former President David Granger.
