CCJ UPHOLDS 2001 AMENDMENT TO PRESIDENTIAL TERM LIMIT

Judges of the Caribbean court of justice have ruled 6-1, upholding the constitutional amendment on term limits for presidential candidates in Guyana, overturning the decision of the Guyana court of appeal. The ruling simply means that a person can only serve as president in Guyana for two terms. Royden James opens our broadcast with more details of this historic ruling.
