The centenary birth anniversary of a distinguished daughter of the soil, Valerie Muriel Rodway, CCH, LRSM, was commemorated on Tuesday. Handell Duncan reports on what is so special about her that even though she is deceased, her birth centenary is deserving of commemoration.
