During the massive cleanup exercise from 2015 to the 50
th
Independence Anniversary in 2016, the city council owes XL
Engineering in excess of $135 million dollars.
This was disclosed during Monday’s Commission of Inquiry into
City Hall’s operation by the Finance Manager of the company
Aysha Harrop.
Ms Harrop told the commission that the Engineering company was
taken on in December of 2015 to conduct Emergency works.
