CITY HALL SET RE INTRODUCE ‘NAME & SHAME’ CAMPAIGN

The Mayor and City Council has undergone a “Name and Shame” Imitative to target persons who refuses to pay their civic obligations. Yaniss Abrams Reports. 

The Mayor and City Council has missed the date to submit their 2019 budget to Minister of Communities Ronald Bulkan. The council was scheduled to present their budget on November 15, said the outgoing Mayor Patricia Chase-Green.

The Former Mayor mentioned that the council is currently depending on (Rates and Taxes from citizens and businesses within the Georgetown  district to pay staff their salaries. She mentioned that a sub-committee was formed to deal with neglectors since the council sees it important to receive what is due to them.
