CITY HALL’S INABILITY TO PAY WORKERS PROMPTLY SPURS A FACE OFF WITH THE GUYANA LABOUR AND MUNICIPAL WORKERS

The Guyana Labour Union and City Hall are at loggerheads again. The GLU staged a protest on Monday which the Town Clerk says is an attempt to embarrass the council. But the President of the Guyana Labour Union says the town clerk is ignoring requests for dialogue. We have a report.
