The foundation has been laid for the new $614 million Guyana Fire Service headquarters, which is being relocated to Homestretch Avenue, Georgetown, and according to Fire Chief (ag) Gregory Wickham, the construction is being undertaken within the timeline for the completion of the building slated for later this year.
