Applicants who submitted their house lot applications to the Ministry of Housing and Water by December 31, 2024, can expect to receive official offers by July 2025. That announcement came from Minister of Housing and Water, Collin Croal, during the “Dream Realised” Housing Drive 2025 held in Region 3.
“We will offer by end of July all other pending applicants… It’s an offer—it’s for you to accept,” Minister Croal said.
The Minister acknowledged public concerns over allocation delays, particularly in Region 4, which has seen an overflow of applications, with over 45,000 pending.
“Region 4 has the largest demand… it takes about five house lots per acre, so that puts pressure on the availability,” he explained.
Region 4 currently accounts for 60% of all land allocations in the country.
In contrast, Region 3 has seen major expansion, with land allocated in 12 new areas over the past four years, and most applicants in that region have already signed agreements of sale or received titles.
At Tuesday’s event, the Ministry handed out more than 700 certificates, including over 340 ownership documents, to allottees in Region 3.
