DEMERARA HARBOUR BRIDGE MULLS BANNING TRUCKS FOUND PERSISTENTLY SPEEDING

The Demerara Harbour Bridge Corporation (DHBC) is considering taking action to prevent speeding trucks from causing damage or endangering other drivers on the floating structure. The Chairman of the DHBC, Ravi Ramcharitar, has reportedly stated that the Corporation is looking into the possibility of banning trucks that repeatedly speed on the bridge.

This action is being taken in the interest of public safety, as speeding trucks can pose a significant risk to other drivers and potentially cause damage to the bridge. Shemar Alleyne has the details.
