Sabrina Prettypaul, a 37-year-old businesswoman of Diamond, East Bank Demerara (EBD), was on Tuesday charged with fraudulent misappropriation committed on a 42-year-old man.
The accused appeared before Principal Magistrate Judy Latchman in the Diamond/Golden Grove Magistrates’ Court, where she denied the charge.
Prettypaul is accused of fraudulent misappropriation committed on David Sugrim, a 42-year-old Businessman of Golden Grove. The crime occurred between July 1 and October 2022 at Lot 1081 Section ‘B’ Block X, Diamond.
She was granted $100,000 bail, and the case was adjourned to October 19 for disclosure.
