The family of 19-year-old Treon Goppy of Enterprise, East Coast Demerara, who died following an accident on Tuesday, contradicts the Police’ version that the young man died while receiving treatment at the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation. They are adamant that after waiting more than three hours to be seen by a doctor, the teen succumbed on a stretcher in the triage area.
