More than 120 people have died and hundreds missing as a result of massive flooding in western Europe, according to international media reports.
A BBC report has described the incident as the “worst flooding” in Europe for decades.
Rising flood, electricity outages and landslides are hampering rescue efforts, according to reports.
The BBC reported that 103 people in Germany are dead and at least 20 killed in Belgium.
A record rainfall has been blamed for the flooding.
”In some areas we have not seen as much rainfall in 100 years,” a spokesperson for the German weather service DWD is quoted as saying by CNN.
