Former Senior Superintendent and Attorney-at-Law Edmond Cooper has died in his sleep at the age of 47.
HGP Nightly News understands that Cooper has been battling with his health for quite some time now.
Cooper, who joined the Guyana Police Force (GPF) in 1992, served as a Prosecutor for over a decade and was Commander of several Divisions. In 2020, he was admitted to the local Bar.
