A mental health and well-being study slated to commence in January is expected to provide the Government of Guyana with the answers it needs to tackle the high suicide rates existing in the country. It is anticipated that a four-day mental health and well-being conference launched on Monday will educate and engender enthusiasm among local stakeholders on the objectives of the upcoming study.
