With the continued rise of living costs on the back of food and other basic necessities, most Guyanese are finding it challenging to stay afloat. With this in mind, the General Workers’ Union staged a protest action in front of Public Buildings on Friday demanding that all Guyanese earn better wages of no less than $117,000 per month.
