GEORGETOWN MAYOR CALLS ON GOVERNMENT TO DISTRIBUTE CASH GRANT TO DISPLACED ‘ PUNT TRENCH DAM RESIDENTS

Some twenty-six families are occupying illegal structures at Independence Boulevard, Albouystown, to further an Enhancement Project. While Minister of Works Juan Edghill has pledged support in relocating the residents, Chief Citizen Mayor Ubraj Narine maintains that they should also be given cash grants to compensate for their losses due to the project.
