The anticipated Christmas season is upon Guyanese and the traditional shopping has begun in Georgetown and the other commercial districts across Guyana.
The Guyana National Bureau of Standards has recommended a number of tips for consumers, especially during this season. Public Relations officer of the agency Lloyd David said that GNBS is integrally involved in consumer’s protection. Mr. David mentioned that during the Christmas season, consumers must be very vigilant in their choices and pay attention to the tips offered by consumer protection bodies.
