GPSU OPENS STRIKE RELIEF ACCOUNT AS GOV’T THREATENS TO SLASH SALARIES OF PROTESTING LINDEN NURSES

In challenging the Health Ministry’s decision to slash salaries of healthcare workers at the Linden Hospital Complex who continue to protest for the dismissal of the Chief Executive Officer, the Guyana Public Service Union has established a strike relief fund to support the more than one hundred affected staff.
