GRC PLANS TO TAKE LEGAL ACTION FOLLOWING THE PASSAGE OF THE NARCO BILL

Antonio Dey tells us that the Guyana Rastafari Council threatens to take legal action following the passage of the Narcotic Drugs & Psychotropic substances amendment bill on Monday at the 50th sitting of the National Assembly, which states that persons found with up to 30 grams of marijuana will no longer face jail time, but are required to undergo counseling or community service.
