Guyana celebrated yet another significant milestone on Sunday. It was 53ears ago that the Union Jack was lowered and the Golden Arrowhead hoisted. In celebrating the country’s 53rdIndependence Anniversary members of Government, the diplomatic corps and others all came together to wish the former British colony well. Handell Duncan reports.
