The Guyana Congregational Union (GCU) calls on the Christian community to unite in a spirit of unity and fellowship as it hosts its Biannual Assembly and National Conference.
Held under the theme “Together in Christ, Stronger in Mission,” the conference brings together pastors, church leaders, and members from across the country to reflect on the church’s role in national development, spiritual growth, and community outreach.
In opening remarks, GCU leaders emphasized the importance of collaboration across denominations to strengthen society’s moral and social fabric, especially in times of uncertainty and change.
“Unity in the body of Christ is key if we are to be a light in our communities and a force for positive change,” one church official noted.
The conference features worship services, workshops, and panel discussions on youth ministry, faith in action, and inter-church partnerships.
