In a bold move to modernize education through technology, the Guyana Learning Channel has officially rolled out six new digital channels. These aim to revolutionize broadcast content and make educational programming clearer, more interactive, and more accessible to all Guyanese.
The expansion is part of the government’s broader digital education strategy, designed to enhance learning delivery across all levels, from nursery to secondary and beyond. The new channels will cater to specific subjects, age groups, and interests, offering curated content that is engaging and relevant to today’s learners.
Officials from the Ministry of Education say this development marks a significant leap forward in transforming how students access knowledge, especially in remote and underserved areas.
“We’re not just improving visuals—we’re building an interactive, student-friendly space where learning can happen anywhere,” a ministry representative said.
The Guyana Learning Channel is now positioning itself as a leader in ed-tech broadcasting in the region, and it plans to innovate further in content delivery.
