Guyana records 109 new cases of COVID-19

Within the last 24 hours, a whopping 109 cases of the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) were recorded by health authorities in Guyana, taking the total number of cases recorded since testing began to 10,007, to date.

Presently 11 persons are in the COVID-19 Intensive Care Unit (ICU) while 57 are in institutional isolation.

There are 913 individuals in home isolation and 17 in institutional quarantine.

The death toll stands at 225.
