33-year-old Michelet Murat a Haitian National was arrested after having arrived in Guyana by sea and disembarking without the consent of an Immigration Officer.
He appeared before Magistrate Alex Moore where the charge was laid under Section 34 (1) (c) of the Immigration Act Chapter 14:02.
The accused pleaded guilty and was fined $15,000 or 3 weeks imprisonment
