A ruling by Justice of Appeal Rishi Persaud has come under scrutiny following revelations made by John Hess, the Chief Executive Officer of Hess Corporation. Hess stated that President Irfaan Ali strongly believed that a stay of execution would be issued in the case against ExxonMobil regarding the unlimited parent company guarantee.
