Mahaica woman chopped to death by her husband at her workplace.
Dead is Candacy Pitt age 31, of 18 Chelsea Park, East Coast Demerara. Investigators were told that Pitt who worked as a security guard attached to the Bygeval Secondary school was attacked by her husband at her workplace and dealt multiple chops about her body but not before he first attacked and chopped security guard Brenda Thomas aged 51 years of Chelsea Park who had denied him entry into the compound to see his wife.
They were rushed to the Georgetown Public Hospital where Candacy Pitt was pronounced DOA and Brenda Thomas admitted. The husband of Candacy Pitt, Athlone Pitt surrendered to the police and confessed to brutally chopping the woman to death.
