With over 1,500 polling stations opened their doors at 6 AM on
Monday morning, Nightly News visited a number of polling
stations on the East and West Bank of Demerara.
An 81-year-old was also captured by our camera, walking out of
the Providence Primary School with her inked finger.
She spoke with Nightly News and mentioned that despite her age,
she was determined to vote.
