HIV AND TB COINFECTION RATE DECREASE FOR THE FIRST TIME IN TEN YEARS

The incidence of HIV and Tuberculosis coinfection is still very prevalent in Guyana. However these statistics has seen a significant decrease for the first time in a decade and Manager of the National Tuberculosis Programme is urging persons to adhere to correct medication usage to reduce this serious health threat.
