INDIGENOUS WOMEN REPORT REVIEWED BY CEDAW

The South Rupununi District Council says that, to achieve true gender equality and eliminate gender discrimination, Guyana must consider the particular case of Wapichan and other indigenous women. This came after Guyana was reviewed under the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW) this week. More in this report from Colwyn Abrams.
