Even as the International Solar Alliance is formulating plans to increase the deployment of solar energy technologies in Latin America and the Caribbean to reduce the region’s dependency on fossil energy as the rest of the world explores renewable energy strategies, President Irfaan Ali has urged members of the Alliance to analyze investments towards solar energy and its variables carefully.
