22-year-old David Karran called “Jack” and 32-year-old Deol Narrayan called “Deportee” were slapped with three counts of Robbery Under Arms, Contrary to Section 222 (c) of the Criminal Law Offences Act Chapter 8:01 committed on a family of three at Kimbia Village, Upper Berbice River on March 18.
Karran of Block #25 Adelphi Village, East Canje, Berbice and Narrayan of Section “A” #70 Village, East Canje, Berbice appeared at the Linden Magistrate’s Court via Zoom represented by their attorneys before Magistrate Wanda Fortune, where the three charges were jointly read to them.
They were not required to plea to the indictable charges and have both been remanded to prison until 13th of April for disclosure.
