A 34-year-old labourer has been charged with murder and remanded to prison after being accused of fatally chopping a 22-year-old man. Ryan Dhanpat of Smythfield Village, New Amsterdam, Berbice, appeared before Magistrate Renita Singh at the New Amsterdam Magistrate’s Court. Renata Burnette.
