The Linden Mayor and Town Council have continued to voice their concerns regarding appointing key administrative positions within the municipality. This is after the Local Government Commission rescinded its unilateral appointment of PPP/C Political activist Lennox Gasper as Town Clerk. The Municipality maintains that the Commission again attempts to undermine its authority and autonomy.
